Aug 16th Rotary Golf Tournament -Recap
We had our annual Rotary Golf Tournament hosted by Monticello and STMA Clubs at Riverwood National in Otsego. It was a very successful event with 25 teams in attendance, 40 sponsors, and lots of gift giveaways. Thank you to all the members who sponsored, played, donated and volunteered to make the event successful. A very nice video was shot by Cory Wiest with EMEX Benefit Systems that you can check out on the STMA Rotary Facebook page.
I'm continuing to get emails from different people who would like to speak. Cindy McCarty will be reaching out to these people to coordinate dates and times for speakers. Ann Marie-Foucault would like to speak in the next 60 days regarding the STMA levy. We will coordinate with her administrative team to get this on the books.
August 27th from 12-2pm is Clean Up Day. Please let Kevin Lenz know asap if you can help either with ditch clean up or helping two senior homes clean up. The STMA football team will supply us with helpers.
Finally, I was informed grant money is running out fast and we need to submit for a grant request this week. We can discuss this at the meeting.
